'Me Time' for Mums - Self Care & Stress Management

What is 'Me Time' for Mums – Self Care & Stress Management?

'Me Time' for Mums is a wellness program for managing stress and anger for Mums or female caregivers.

Becoming a mum brings huge life changes and new responsibilities that impact all aspects of life. Becoming a Mum can transform your physical, mental and emotional health, change relationships, and impact your sense of self.  Understandably, this often brings a range of mixed and big emotions for Mum’s.

Have you lost yourself since becoming a Mum?

Are you feeling overwhelmed and having outbursts you later regret?

Do you want to reconnect with your family and start having more fun?

Finding it hard to reach out and ask for help?

If you are looking for support with the above or support as a Mum, we will help you identify where these big emotions are coming from, recognise the early warning signs and know how to ask for help (and get it).

How do the 'Me Time' for Mums – Self Care & Stress Management sessions work?

Deb provides a safe space for Mums and female caregivers to receive extra support. It encourages Mums to take some well-deserved ‘me time’ with other Mums. The program runs for 10 hours in total, split over a few sessions, with flexibility in delivery.

Some identities withheld to protect privacy

“One of my clients,  *********, recently attending one of your Tuning into Teens courses. I’ve had rave reviews from both ********, and her support worker. They mentioned there might be an adaptation of the course that would be condensed down to put support workers through if they support teens or adults with teen children. Is this something you’ve done before or would be open to doing?”

Keeping Kids in Mind

“When I started this course I had been going through separation on and off for 3 years. It had been an extremely toxic relationship all round. Over the period of time from doing this I learnt so much that I don’t even know where to start. Firstly and most importantly I learnt how our toxic behaviours came across to the children. I considered myself to be pretty aware of how I acted around the kids about my former partner and don’t consider myself to be a bad case as far as how I previously acted. But after doing keeping kids in mind I realised how aware they actually are. The biggest part of it for me was controlling my side of the bridge and the level of importance. Those two tools have made my life so much easier to deal with separation and I’m enjoying sharing what I have learnt with friends that are going through separation even the ones without kids. I can’t thank all the trainers enough for their level of care throughout the course. And though I’m not the best with words usually I would just like to say this course had genuinely changed my perspective towards soo many aspects of my life not just my separation but also how I go into future relationships.

Thank you”
